Myotek’s In-House Capabilities

From CAD to Night Drive, We’ve got the Team, the Tools and the Expertise to Turn Your Vision into a Functioning Vehicle Lamp

Collaboration Benefits of Our In-House Prototype & Development Capabilities

Collaborating with Myotek on your next OEM transportation lighting model ensures a high performance LED solution that’s priced right. Since 1997 we’ve been developing & manufacturing innovative vehicle lighting solutions for major OEM partners globally.

At Myotek, we recognize the importance of investing in technology to stay on the cutting edge. Our in-house capabilities allows our partners to reduce design lead times and provide a better lighting solution to their customers. Speed to Market is Speed to Profit.

3D Rapid Prototyping

Having the capability to machine and 3D print parts in-house, enables us to quickly evaluate and improve products during the design phase. These benefits are especially apparent to our customers who value the benefits of being able to evaluate prototypes quickly.

Optical Design

Precision optics are critical in OEM lighting design. Our sputtering chamber, used for metalizing reflector optics, allows us to quickly develop and optimize our desired beam patterns before going into tooling.

Nordson Hotmelt System

Is a 4-axis automated system configured for precise fluid dispensing using EFD syringe barrel and valve systems. A high-performance leader in fluid dispensing solutions for automotive applications.

Thermotron

Environmental testing with a thermal and humidity chamber helps improve product reliability while providing superior performance for prototyping, durability testing, and product component screening.

CCD Imaging System

Our vision-based photometer provides real-time measurement of cut-off angle, gradient value and total light output. This precision CCD camera system is designed to give comparable photometric values to a goniometer in a fraction of the time.  The quick acquisition and storage of light pattern data is beneficial for evaluating product performance during all phases of development.

Photometric Testing

All of our products are designed to meet or exceed SAE, FMVSS, DOT, ECE-F3, and CCC guidelines. Photometric testing in an Integrating Sphere is an essential step of our part approval process in meeting customer requirements.

Mitutoyo Quick Scope

is a non-contact Vision Measuring Microscope offering high accuracy and powerful capabilities.

Hexagon Romer Arm

This 6 Axis arm delivers 3D tactile probing and high-end, high-productivity laser scanning on all of Myotek’s measurement applications.

PCB Design

Myotek’s LED drivers are designed to efficiently operate our lighting products and meet vehicle EMC regulatory requirements at the component and vehicle level.  All myotek LED lamps meet or exceed SAE automotive lighting standards.

Roland CNC Mill

Combines advanced capabilities for the precision milling of a wide variety of plastics and metals. The MDX-540 is a highly advanced 4-Axis desktop CNC mill loaded with SRP Player CAM software to make prototype production an easy and stress-free experience.

Labconco

Ductless Enclosures are self-contained work stations, also known as ductless fume hoods that can use both carbon and HEPA filters to rid the laboratory of annoying or unsafe concentrations of organic solvents, gases and paint fumes.

Thermal Simulation Capabilities

Myotek’s Thermal Design Analysis is supported with its in-house Solar Load Simulator and thermal imaging capabilities
